Great and friendly service (everyone says hello, attentive, very polite), very fresh fish and really aromatic preparation. The prices are accordingly, but that is "due" to the quality, which I am very happy to pay. But even cheap.

Never forget my fish sandwich here

Excessive prices and the waitresses always try to show you the most expensive thing without informing you about the price. We wanted to eat a fish soup for two - which is expensive at 18 € anyway - as a starter. The waitress told us that she would split the soup into two plates as small fish soup - and asked for € 14 per small fish soup, for a total of € 28, which was € 10 more than ordered. That is just outrageous and was not the only cheek. From now on we will e.g. go to the Poseidon fish restaurant.

A shop where you can eat very delicious seafood. The front is vongole and the back is seafood spaghetti. I went there at noon on weekdays, but the inside was full of reserved seats. I could sit on the terrace. There was a heater and a blanket, so I didn't mind the cold even at 9 degrees outside.

Just been to Fisch Witte at the Viktualienmarkt, super friendly lady at the counter. It doesn't get any fresher or tastier. The next visit will definitely follow.

It exceeds all expectations. The entire staff is professional and competent and friendly. The quality of the goods on offer is excellent.

As old people from Munich we always enjoyed going to Witte. This time we ordered a table 3 days in advance. We were just left standing after showing up on time. After two times Upon request and a 20 minute wait, we were offered a high table, although we have a dachshund with us. Very unfriendly treatment, which is especially embarrassing when you have invited someone. The audience is Schicki-Micki. We will certainly never visit this shop again and just hope that other people won't put up with something like this either! It was simply INSOLE! Ms. Witte can afford that, because the people behind us are queuing to get a seat, just unbelievable !!!!!!

I bought a salmon roll and found that the fish had rotten spots. When I asked, I was badly abused and driven away in an unfriendly manner. The ladies refused my reclamation and threw me the bread roll! Absolutely cheeky! I'll never go here again

Yesterday we went to Fisch Witte for the first time. The food was very good, we had clams, just perfect. In addition, white wine that was at the right temperature. Service very nice and friendly. We would be happy to come back.

Was there for the first time today. Despite a longer waiting time with reservation, the stay on the whole was really recommendable. Even if the waiters were a bit stressed, they serve you with the utmost attention and friendliness. The food lives up to the price, very tasty! Special praise goes to one of the nicest waiters I've ever been served by, Dominik.

Witte was always my favorite restaurant, but nothing of the friendliness can be felt anymore! Reserved table in the pouring rain and no replacement seat !!! Not at all. The boss ran from table to table to explain to people that it would be over soon :-) We paid and just went to the restaurant across the street. We were received politely there!

The good first. Nice visit nice friendly service. A nice place. However the food was rather average. You shouldn't expect too much there. The prices unearthly because I lack any understanding. An average salmon tartare for 17 € the white wine 0.2 for 9 € so I turned off for a beer just in time. What a shame

Very good restaurant at the market, fresh seafood anytime. Great oysters, you may choose fish and other seafood from the market and order to cook anyway you like. Very crowded at weekends. Prices are high but Fisch is only the place there which offers high quality products and service.

Great place if you reserve a table in advance, otherwise you can wait in line for ever...

The place for fresh fish dishes at Munich famous Viktualienmarkt. On the weekend it's a place for the Munich high society seen and to be seen.

The food was great to go and try if you want to eat good quality should not complain about prices, especially for fish, the service was very nice and attentive. I will come back for sure. Keep it up ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Crazy prices for fresh fish

Fabulous! Great atmosphere, delicious food!

They only know how to cook seafood by grilling. Scallops and prawns were not particularly fresh. Food and wine are generally overpriced for quality. Seats are uncomfortable.

The Service is fairly decent and the Food is great however the time spend in the queue is very high due to the fact that the room for the guests is so little The Prices are fairly high aswell however there isnt really a cheaper alternative(that ive found) which is cheaper and offers fresh food

Disgusting customer service! My family and I waited to get seated indoor for almost 2 hours and when it was finally our turn to get seated, we were asked to sit outdoor. We complained to the manager who led us to the table, because all of the people who waited before us managed to sit indoor. But they refused and said I should talk to their boss instead. I did and she said she is the 'big big boss' and so, either we sit outside or we get nothing. While I was walking out , I heard them laugh behind me. Out of furiosity, we decided not to eat there because of the appalling customer service. In addition, they clearly discriminate against Asians. They allow non-Asian people to jump queue - while there was a table available for 2 people, the third group (who are German) in the line managed to get the table before the two Korean ladies who were standing behind us (since we're a group of 3 and we were first in the queue). The Korea ladies tried to reason with them but they still let the German couple to get the table and the Korean ladies still had to queue. This is ridiculous and is the most barbaric experience I've had so far. Simply unbelievable!!

Great Fish and seafood

Best fish shop in all of Munich. Large variety of fresh fish including sushi grade freshness for some. How wonderful to have a mr Witte standing in the back and giving advice when needed. There’s a bistro style seating for people who with to eat in, but I haven’t tried the cooked food yet...

Ok; the fish was delicious; but I had to wait like 40 min plus, and for 44 euros I actually left hungry. So recommend that you choose from the menu; or make sure to check what your paying for; I was pleasantly surprised with a 60 euros bill at the end; a bit much for a lonely lunch!

Such a busy restaurant but it is busy for a good reason. The seafoods here are really fresh. All of our dishes were really good. As busy as it was, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We came in for lunch a little late, past 3:00 and they close at 4:00pm otherwise I would have tried other dishes as well.

We found this place by coinsidence. Got a table without reservation - probably good luck. Service was super, food - delicious. Calamari - the best we ever tried. Wonderful gourmet experience. Must a visit!

You’ll hardly find a better place around Viktualienmarkt. Ideally come here to enjoy some fresh seafood and a glass of wine in the sunshine. Reservations are recommended.
